After the body is fully carved and contoured, a 5-piece maple/purpleheart neck is added. The neck's thin profile and multiscale fretboard are ideal for heavy riffing and high-octane soloing. The searing tone is provided by a set of Seymour Duncan passive humbuckers — a Sentient in the neck and a Nazgul in the bridge. Extra sonic options are provided by a coil-splitting harness.
